Glacier Energy Services have increased their sales efforts in the Downstream and Industrial markets with the hire of two new key members.

Lewis Ashby started with the business as the new Sales & Business Development Manager, based out of Glacier’s Birmingham facility.  Lewis has over 30 years’ experience in the industry having worked for a number of leading heat exchanger and pressure vessel fabricators.  He has a strong sales track record across a variety of sectors including Oil & Gas and Power Generation.

Matthew Brooks has joined the team in Birmingham as the new Sales Engineer, mainly working within the Industrial sector.  With over 5 years’ experience in the industry, Matthew has worked as a Contracts Engineer and Project Manager for a pressure vessel fabricator providing equipment to the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation and Nuclear sectors.

In 2015 Glacier opened their Birmingham facility, mainly focussing on the design and manufacture of heat exchangers and coolers as well as acting as a southern UK base for their other services.  The hires reinforce Glacier’s investment in its Birmingham facility and strengthens their manufacturing sales capability across a variety of sectors.
