Sellafield Ltd is the company responsible for safely delivering decommissioning, reprocessing and nuclear waste management activities on behalf of the Nuclear
Decommissioning Authority.  The company has sites at Sellafield in Cumbria and Capenhurst in Cheshire as well as an extensive engineering design capability based at Risley in Warrington.

Now under the ownership of Nuclear Management partners, Sellafield Ltd has the largest concentration of nuclear expertise in Europe, with over 50 years of experience.

Successful project delivery is vital to delivering world class operations and accelerating high hazard risk reduction at Sellafield.  As a company they strive to deliver projects safely, ahead of schedule, delivering best value for the UK tax payer. In order to decommission the legacy facilities at the Sellafield site it is often
necessary to construct new facilities.

Associated with the top high hazard decommissioning projects a number of new plants related to the delivery of the mission will be constructed
these include; a sludge packaging plant, an encapsulated product store 3 and evaporator D to name just a few.  These are very exciting developments on
the site and will present the nuclear supply chain with future business opportunities.

At this event you will hear a presentation from Sean Morgan PhD
BEng (hons), Supply Chain Innovations,

Technical Innovations Team, Sellafield Ltd that will include:

*Overview of Sellafield as a business

*Information on current / forthcoming projects outlining
opportunities for the nuclear supply chain

*Details of the Vendor approval process and how to engage in
the future

*An understanding of how the nuclear supply chain can raise
their profile with Sellafield such as open days etc.

The event sponsor, Studsvik UK will also deliver a short presentation about their business.
