Where are we in the UK with Nuclear?

In partnership with the Nuclear Indusrty Association (NIA) and NAMRC


NOF Energy in partnership with Nuclear AMRC and the Nuclear Industry Association (NIA) invite you to understand where the UK currently is in relation to Nuclear. The event will mainly focus on the UK market giving you an overview of each area however; the importance of international players in the UK nuclear sector will be briefly discussed. 

Whether you are already active in the nuclear sector or looking to expand further into this area don’t miss the chance to attend this business briefing. In addition the event will help you understand the importance of the Fit For Nuclear Programme.


NIA is the trade association for the civil nuclear industry in the UK, representing over 260 companies across the supply chain.

At this event Tom Greatex, NIA Chief Executive will present you with:

• Information about the different areas of Nuclear including, new build, decommissioning and life extension

• Timescales for upcoming and current projects

• Key products / services required

• Advice and guidance for supply chain companies looking to enter or develop further into nuclear

• A brief update on nuclear overseas and the importance of the global supply chain to the UK nuclear sector

Tom Greatrex became Chief Executive of the NIA on 1 February 2016.  Formerly MP for Rutherglen and Hamilton West, Tom was shadow energy minister from 2011 – 2015 and the opposition’s lead spokesman on nuclear energy, electricity market reform, smart grid and metering, carbon capture and storage, interconnection and both onshore and offshore oil and gas.

Nuclear AMRC

The Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (Nuclear AMRC) is a collaboration of academic and industrial partners from across the civil nuclear manufacturing supply chain, with the mission of helping UK manufacturers win work in the UK and worldwide.
